Augmented reality platform for market furniture

Visualizing new furniture in a shopping store is not easy. Either the whole store is needed in 3D to visualize the new furniture item in the right environment or it is ordered, built and assessed in a dummy shopping store after a long transport. Therefore, an augmented reality solution is very attractive to save costs and time. With the help of the implemented AR platform, it was possible that 3D models of furnishings were simply uploaded and then easily visualized as an AR model on the cell phone via QR code. The 3D model was first optimized for performance, converted to USDZ and hosted on a server. The link to the 3D model was hosted via QR code so that it could also be easily placed on items or presentations.
